"I first noticed Kiss in 1979 at the age of 12. The first album I heard was Destroyer. At first it was the show and the effects that caught my attention. Kiss was different from the other bands - it was enough to look at a picture of them and you immediately knew what they were about. Ever since nothing more unique has come along in this genre. Furthermore, their unusual appearance is complemented by unusually good music. With the release of Creatures Of The Night I've immediately bought every one of their records, and as long as I had them, I learned all the songs. I did this on my own, never thinking that one day I'd be playing them before an audience. It means a lot to me to be able to recreate my childhood favorites on stage in the same make-up, clothes and boots that they wear, not to mention the music that they play."
